After a two-year hiatus, the Long Beach Island Commemorative 18 Mile Run is back, and there’s still time to get in the game.
Two years ago, a coastal storm forced the race’s cancellation and last year, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it was limited to those who wanted to complete the race in a “virtual” format. This year, barring any issues related to weather or COVID, the 49th version of the annual event is slated for Sunday, Oct. 10, starting at 10:30 a.m.
