To the Editor:
I am writing in support of Joan McGee’s letter (“Be Part of the Solution,” 5/24). Unfortunately, Ms. McGee’s excellent points are falling on deaf ears, since the public in large part lacks understanding of the issues regarding flooding and the potential solutions currently being considered on the state and federal level.
Many people continue to say that they do not “believe” in climate change, but are nonetheless annoyed and negatively impacted by nuisance flooding caused by it.
