I have been attending the Harvey Cedars borough meetings and taxpayers association meetings for quite some time. I am impressed, yet not surprised, how one of my neighbors, Joe Gieger, as a private citizen, is leading the effort to improve the safety and enhance the look of the Harvey Cedars “downtown” area.
The project includes new, uniform sidewalks and lamps among other upgrades. Joe initiated the project, known as “Streetscape,” over two years ago and sits on the mayor’s streetscape…
