The approach of Easter, following Good Friday this week, gave me thought to comment on a new perspective I recently heard about an ancient incident in history. The arrival of Gov. Chris Christie in Manahawkin on March 25 (“Governor Cuts Ribbon at New Addiction Treatment Facility in Stafford,” 3/25 online)expanded my thoughts as to a tie-in to a modern social crisis that is especially dark in Ocean County.
