To the Editor:
I agree with letter writer Eric Svelling (“Narrow-Minded Lines,” 7/8) on Jon Coen’s propensity to inject his TDS into a surfing column. I’ve written to him before about it. His response was it’s his First Amendment right since it’s his column and feels it’s his responsibility to turn it into an op-ed to make an argument.
