To the Editor:
Your July 3 edition reported that Beach Haven Borough Council renewed the liquor license for the Sea Shell Resort. Numerous residents complained of late-night noise coming from the resort. Two council members apparently shared the same concern and wanted to include a “special condition” in the license renewal. The article ends with an interesting quote “You [referring to the borough council] don’t really care much about people paying taxes in town. The business wins again.”
