That was one very wide load meandering the streets of Manahawkin last Wednesday morning, Dec. 6. It was easy to spot the gray-colored house slowly being transported on a heavy-duty trailer by Atlantic Structure Movers.

The one-story house was originally located in Harvey Cedars on East Cape May Ave. It was set to be demolished by the owner to make room for a larger structure to be built by Callan and Moeller Construction. Michael Farrington, who works for the company, had an alternative plan.
