To the Editor:
Kudos to Long Beach Township Mayor Joseph Mancini for supporting the commissioning of a school funding study that would lead to fairness in our financial arrangement with the Southern Regional School District where we pay 80% of the cost while sending 8% of the students.
The cost of the study would be far less than the $200,000 we pay per student per year and would give us leverage to force Southern Regional to renegotiate.
