To the Editor:
I respectfully oppose the proposed waterfront development at 550 Leeward Ave. in Beach Haven, including the installation of a dock, two boat lifts and a 25-foot breakwater extending into Liberty Thorofare.
Liberty Thorofare is already a narrow, shallow and heavily traveled waterway. In this area, vessels often have only a few feet of navigable water, and even minor deviations from the channel can result in groundings.
