Santa Claus’ annual in-person recon of the Long Beach Island region, masked as his yearly participation in the Ship Bottom Christmas Parade, left the jolly ol’ elf more, well, jolly, after celebrating with friends.
This year marked the 44th annual event and, to Santa’s delight, the theme was “Christmas with Friends.” He gave a nod to an impersonator stationed along the parade route, which runs from Fifth Street to 25th Street on the first Saturday of every December.
