My 16-year-old granddaughter from Arizona is visiting her octogenarian grandparents this summer, having finally achieved her lifetime goal of obtaining a job at the Skipper Dipper. She was so excited when she called, asking if she could stay with us this summer. My wife and I were fearful of accepting the responsibility for a teenager for the summer, but how could we say no?
