To the Editor:
On Wednesday, Feb. 22, we endured what every homeowner fears: A fire broke out at our house in Beach Haven, leaving it uninhabitable. Although this experience was devastating and traumatic, it reinforced the simple fact that while possessions are replaceable, people are not. We were lucky to escape unharmed, along with our precious dog, Milly.
We wish to thank the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Co., the Surf City Volunteer Fire Co.
