To the Editor:
I love the beginning of summer. The birds are back, the ocean is warming up and things are again blooming. Families are gearing up for another summer of family, friends and barbecues. Kids are getting out of school and summer friends are in full swing.
When my own kids were little, this was my favorite time of year: days of freedom, not running to a soccer field, a lacrosse field or asking anyone and everyone if they have done their homework.
