To the Editor:
Long Beach Island proudly markets itself as a premier Jersey Shore destination. Homes sell for millions, tourists pour in every summer, and taxes certainly aren’t bargain basement. Which makes the condition of the roads all the more embarrassing.
Anyone who drives through North Beach knows exactly what I’m talking about. The pavement is cracked, uneven and patched so many times it resembles a quilt more than a roadway.
