First responders cleared block 100 of 15th Street on the morning of April 17 due to a gas leak, Ship Bottom fire officials reported.
Station 46 was dispatched to the scene shortly before 10 a.m. and the first crew confirmed elevated gas readings in the interior and exterior of a home on the block. Due to the severity of the readings, an evacuation of the area was ordered.
