To the Editor:
“I highly doubt this incident ever happened” (“Doubt It Happened,” 10/26). This was the response to the writers of two previous letters (“Egregious Behavior,” 10/19, and “Racism on LBI,” 10/12). On what facts or information is this statement based?
I am outraged at the implication that Jane Madell, the writer of “Racism on LBI,” fabricated this story, and then took the time to write it down in a letter to the editor.
