While the cleanup and shutdown of Nantucket’s offshore wind farm due to a blade failure is still ongoing, the coverage was wide and far, including in The SandPaper (“Nantucket Wind Farm Incident Worries Jersey Offshore Turbine Opponents,” (7/24). If that happened here, besides the physical damage to our pristine beaches and ocean, could the impact be even farther reaching, despite Atlantic Shores’ efforts?
