To the Editor:
Can somebody explain to me why I’m paying more for groceries and getting less service than I did 18 months ago?
Like many others, I am forced to use the self-service checkout stations if I want to get out of the supermarket in a reasonable time. This means the markets have to hire fewer cashiers.
