This is in response to the commentary by Joseph Reynolds titled “Whale Deaths Misinformation Ignores the Facts” (3/8). Mr. Reynolds includes disparate “facts” on increasing ship traffic, trends in the whale population, and threats to the marine mammal population. And he acknowledges that such threats are putting great stress on the marine mammal population along the New Jersey shore.
