To the Editor:
At Beach Haven’s last council meeting, funds were approved to add additional pickleball courts. I admire the many children who politely spoke out at the meeting to save the grassed park on Nelson Avenue and not use it for more pickleball courts. However, there were some adults whose loud, uncontrolled behavior at the meeting was unacceptable by any standard and set a bad example to the children on the Zoom call.
We all have the right for privacy, and the quiet enjoyment of our homes. I live on a street near a beach entrance.
