Jon Coen’s reference to “Tumbleweed Tuesday” in a Liquid Lines column last month got me thinking, once I picked myself off the floor where I had fallen from laughing so hard. Jon needs to copyright that phrase, I think. How appropriate for the Tuesday after Labor Day! We should have some sort of “Tumbleweed Tuesday” celebration sort of like the Burning Man Festival in New Mexico to acknowledge the day after the “season” ends.
