To the Editor:
This is in reference to the Feb. 7 article titled “New Storm Drains Expected to Provide Relief from Floods.” Although I am not thoroughly familiar with the details of flooding in Ship Bottom, I believe that the major problem is more than clogged storm drains.
I am familiar with occasional minor flooding in North Beach due to clogged drains on Long Beach Boulevard primarily due to pine needles because of the abundance of pine trees.
