To the Editor:

Thanks, SandPaper, from Petey and Piggie.

Word spread quickly down the dog runs and through the cat cages at Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter in Manahawkin. Did you hear? Petey and Piggie were featured in The SandPaper as Pets of the Week, and pictured in a special article on June 19 (“Sweet Shelter Pups Petey and Piggie Seek a Loving Home of Their Own”). Now perhaps the sweet and friendly, exceptionally bonded, year-old brother and sister will be adopted together.
