Scorching temperatures and high humidity was the order of operation this past weekend, but it didn’t stop 140 sailors from competing in this year’s Colie Sails Laser North American Championships at Brant Beach Yacht Club.
Interestingly, a couple of Canadian sailors and another representing Florida and Wisconsin yacht clubs were among the winners among the three Laser-class regattas, but the full rig races drew the hottest competition, with only four points separating first and third places.
