Another decade has come to an end, and throughout its final year a lot of big accomplishments took place among our local athletic teams and individuals, many of which garnered big headlines within the sports section of The SandPaper.

Remember, we have several professionals out there, a whole bunch of collegiate athletes competing, and a ton of high school and recreational athletes in the mix nowadays, so it should be no surprise that this list often is difficult to devise.
