NURSE-BASHERS BEWARE: Some of the greatest heroes on this planet are nurses. In many ways, they know no fear – or, at least, show no fear – in the face of hideousness, be it sickness or trauma. Like Marines and firefighters, they run into situations where others are fleeing – or fear to tread.

Yes, I’m going Ebola here – and rolling out my growing rage over the heat some of my beloved nurses are taking, even as they selflessly rush in to treat some of the sickest people ever seen.
