To the Editor:
On Sunday, Feb. 25 we lost another Beach Haven local. At age 83, John Blackmann Brown Jr. passed on to the other side after a gastric stomach issue that slowly depleted his strength. He kept his usual cheerfulness and good humor, even in his last days. A lifelong resident of the Beach Haven area, he was a beloved figure in the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
