To the Editor:
I object to the language used in Jay Mann’s column (The Fish Story, 8/21) about horseshoe crabs. On the threat of wind turbine construction, Mr. Mann writes: “The negative impacts on entire biosystems could be immense.”
Mr. Mann has neglected to back this suggestion with anything resembling science and I think it’s wrong for him to use The SandPaper to spread misinformation this way. “The negative impacts on entire biosystems could be immense”?
