Thomas Vazzano almost forgot what some of the youngsters on his swim team looked like after not seeing them last summer because a thing called COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the season.
“It felt unreal to be back out here this week,” said the Barnegat Light Yacht Club coach, whose squad got off to a 2-0 start with wins over Brant Beach and Surf City yacht clubs, the latter of the two a 213-88 win over SCYC on July 8.
