Even though she was spent, Barnegat runner Angelina Colavita still had a bit of a hop to her step following last year’s NJSIAA Cross Country Meet of Champions.
“This was magical. It was amazing,” she said, shortly after crossing the finish line in 43rd place among the best runners in the state with a time of 19:16 at Holmdel Park last November. “I was running with so many amazing girls, and I can’t wait to do it again.”
