He already has his high school diploma and during the next six or seven weeks Lukas Torres might be on campus at Wagner College, preparing for his next baseball season. But for now, Torres will settle for one more ride with his teammates and friends from Barnegat.
“The best part of this is just being with these guys,” said Torres, after he and his teammates edged Southern, 3-2, in the teams’ opener of the “Last Dance” Tournament on July 14.
