Have you noticed how serious this column has become? I’m starting to stress myself out. People used to read Liquid Lines for a break from all the pressing news on LBI like Harvey Cedars bike lane developments and 4th of July beach traditions vs. badge checkers. It was like going to a Fishbone show after a Surf City Council meeting or jumping in the water for evening glass off after a long day shift behind the bar. But lately it’s been so somber around here.
I guess it’s for good reason. We have developers trying to build on wetlands and the risk of pollution in our swimming…
