To the Editor:
I am at a loss to understand the Democratic Party these days. As legal Irish immigrants in 1949 and 1951, my parents were happily Democrats throughout their lives. I’m not sure they would be today; at the least I think they could be confused as I am.
Democratic socialists – that is two political parties. The socialists are calling themselves the progressives of today. They are not that. They are socialists and want to undermine the core values of America and capitalism.
