To the Editor:
I write in connection with the Feedback column by Ralph Thayer (“This Is Not Just Another Election,” 10/4) and the response by Eileen Wright (“Case of TDS” 10/11).
I have always enjoyed submissions by Mr. Thayer as I have found them to be well reasoned and well written. They generally present a position which is supported by facts, allowing readers to make their own judgments as to the veracity of his position. This is the very essence of public dialogue in a free society.
