Join the ranks of anglers targeting striped bass, bluefish and kingfish from the shores of Long Beach Island in an attempt to cash in on thousands of dollars in prize money. Registration is still open for the 67th annual LBI Surf Fishing Classic – one of the nation’s oldest and most storied surfcasting tournaments – which runs Oct. 9 through Dec. 12.
Registration cost is $30 for adults and just $15 for 17 years of age and younger. Early registrants get a commemorative ball cap and decal, as well as a coupon for a free slice of Panzone’s cheese pizza.
