Ship Bottom — Creating dream weddings in the LBI region took the shape of romantic sunsets, special venues and customized services at the LBI Region Wedding Road Show and Party Planning Tour. If there wasn’t a wedding in the cards, a party-full of memories at the beach could be put together here, too.

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce’s 11th annual event on April 28 turned imaginations into real possibilities.

Over 75 chamber members were at the service of 143 decision makers who came with 283 guests, the chamber reported at the end of the day. They came from as far south as Palm Beach Garden, Fla., and as far north as Middletown, Conn., and from cities and towns across Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The show also brings out local couples who can take the memorable plunge close to home.

Anybody preparing to throw a one-of-a-kind celebration had the chance for one-on-one discussions with experts. Samples, tastings and giveaways were the icing on the cake.

The self-guided tour was free of charge. Chamber members say the event has helped make the Long Beach Island Region a true destination for weddings and other special events.

All Road Show attendees checked in at The Mainland Holiday Inn, where they got a tour and breakfast. The chamber thanks members who served as ambassadors, including: Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club; A Sweet Memory Cake Shoppe and Tea Room; Gina Ritacco, Professional Makeup Artist; Island Party Station; Jessica Erb Photography; Just Braggin Hair Salon; LeAnna Theresa Photography; Lily in the Valley Florist; Monte Entertainment; Daymark; Beach Waves Salon; Designs by Stephanie Somodi; The Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel; Every Bloomin’ Thing Florist; Felsburg Photography; Flagship Studios; Jill Snyder Liberty Travel; Rachael Nicole Events; Surf City Yacht Club; The Barrel Mobile Bar; Carmen’s Restaurant; Island Guest House Bed and Breakfast Inn; Mer-made Photography; Murray Grove Retreat and Renewal Center; Panzone’s Pizza and Pasta; Perlmutter ShopRite Florist; Tea Party to Go; Touch of Elegance Catering; Two Giants Photography; Surf City Hotel, Bella Donna Salon; Charles Gravener Photography; DeMarco Family Dental; Let It Be Lovely Weddings and Events; Rose Garden Florist; Shooboo Shuttle; Side Door Donuts and Coffee; Smallcakes LBI; Rodan Fields; Brant Beach Yacht Club; Plantation; daddy O; LBI Historical Museum; The Gables; Tuckers Tavern; Beach Haven Tuna and Marlin Club; Ann Coen Photography; Beach House Spa; Blue Salon and Spa LBI; Buckalews Restaurant and Tavern; The Chill Bride Wedding Consultant; Delaware Avenue Oyster House; Enchanted Celebrations; Kate and Ally’s Restaurant and Catering; Murphy’s Fresh Markets; Priceless Photo and Video; the Rev.
