Wildwood, NJ — President Trump is coming to South Jersey. He is being true to his promise to Rep. Jeff Van Drew – who switched from the Democratic to the Republican Party after opposing the president's impeachment – to hold a rally supporting Van Drew in his district.

New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District includes all of Salem, Cumberland, Cape May and Atlantic counties and parts of Gloucester, Camden, Burlington and Ocean counties, including all of Southern Ocean County save the western half of Stafford Township and all of Barnegat Township. Trump and Van Drew will be appearing at the Wildwoods Convention Center, located at 4501 Boardwalk in Wildwood, Cape May County, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

According to the Trump campaign, the doors to the convention center will open at 3 p.m. for general admission. But up to two tickets can be had online by going to and clicking on “Events.”

It will be the first time a presidential campaign rally takes place in the district since President George H.W. Bush visited Vineland in 1992.  —R.M.
