Suspect Sought for String of Car Burglaries

Stafford Township — Update from Stafford Police Department: "Our suspected car burglar - Kevin Cunningham - was apprehended today (May 7) by Barnegat Township Police"

 

The Stafford Township Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Kevin Cunningham, 35, for a series of car burglaries and thefts that have occurred in town. His last known address is Port Monmouth.

Cunningham is wanted for several car burglaries in March and April in the Ocean Acres section of Stafford and for using stolen credit cards at ShopRite and Costco. Most recently, he is wanted in connection with several car burglaries in Cedar Run, which occurred in the early morning hours of May 3 and were captured by a security camera.

Cunningham drives a silver 2002 Jeep Liberty and is known to frequent Stafford Township, Lacey Township and Toms River.
