Ship Bottom Bayfront Rocks, Rolls, Jumps With Concert Series

By Maria Scandale | Jul 12, 2019

Ship Bottom, NJ — Things get jumpin’ at the concerts at Waterfront Park in Ship Bottom! The bayfront at 10th Street and Shore Avenue, in view of the Causeway Bridge, has enough space for all your friends, family and neighbors to dance together.

Following the sound to join in the fun has been a Thursday night tradition for years. The music starts at 7 p.m. on a stage at the park.

Remember to bring a beach chair for chilling if you’re not up on your feet. Restrooms and portable restrooms (opened and clean at 5 p.m.) are on site.

Some parking is onsite, and when that fills, concertgoers find spaces along the nearby streets. The event is handicapped accessible.

“Please remember, this is a family friendly event. Behave accordingly,” adds the website of the borough, which sponsors the concerts. “Thank you and enjoy the concert.”

Here is the schedule: July 11, Bullzeye; July 18, The Nerds; July 25, The Impulsives; Aug. 1, The Kootz Band; Aug. 8, Triple Rail Turn; Aug. 15, Shorty Long; Aug. 22, Verdict; Aug. 29, Jimmy and the Parrots. —M.S.
