Senior Artists Sought for Annual Exhibit at Ocean County College

Toms River — Attention senior artists! Professional and non-professional artists 60 years of age or older who are residents of Ocean County are eligible to submit artwork to the 43rd annual Ocean County Senior Art Exhibit. The exhibit will be open for public viewing at the Grunin Center Gallery, located in the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College, from June 8 to 29.

Categories of eligible work are as follows: acrylic painting, craft, digital/computer art, mixed media, oil painting,  pastel, print, photography, sculpture, watercolor painting and works on paper.

Each artist may submit only one entry. Artwork must be original work by the exhibiting artist, created within the past three years, and not previously entered in prior county senior art shows or in the New Jersey State Senior Art Show. Reproduction of the artist’s work, including giclée or other digital copies of original paintings or mixed media work, will not be accepted.

Artwork will be received only on Wednesday, June 5, between 9 a.m. and noon in the Grunin Center lobby on the OCC campus, on College Drive in Toms River. A non-refundable entry fee of $10 cash – exact change – is required at the time of submission.
