Reynolds Collecting Canned Goods to Stock Food Pantries

By Maria Scandale | Nov 04, 2019

Manahawkin — Anyone can help support the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean by donating canned goods through a fall food drive at Reynolds Garden Shop. Donations will be accepted through Nov. 20 at Reynolds Floral Market, 227 East Bay Ave. in Manahawkin.

The nonprofit hunger foundation is an all-volunteer organization that raises awareness and money for local food pantries as they help thousands of families each year in the Southern Ocean County area.

Current HFOSO President is Peg Reynolds, a co-owner and general manager of Reynolds Landscaping and Garden Shop.

Members of the public who donate to the canned good food drive will receive a 20 percent off coupon from Reynolds for any one item in the shops that can be used now through January.  —M.S.
