Register March 18 for Free GED and ESL Classes

Educational Services at St. Francis Community Center is offering free New Jersey high school diploma prep and English as a Second Language classes throughout Ocean County this spring, including Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. Registration is scheduled for Monday, March 18.

Enrollment for the GED (General Education Development) classes will be held at 6 p.m. on March 18 in Room 7-1 of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. Registration is also available that same day and time at Holy Family Church in Lakewood, Toms River High School North and the Brick library.

ESL class registration will be in Room 2-1 at Southern Regional, also at 6 p.m. on the 18th. Additional registration locations include the Lakewood library and Toms River High School North

Registration includes intake, assessments and orientation. The enrollment takes three hours, and no late arrivals will be accepted.

Both the GED and ESL classes are slated for Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6 to 9 p.m. Daytime GED classes are also available.
