Murder Mystery Dinner a New Event for Union Market

By Victoria Ford | Nov 05, 2019

Tuckerton — Next weekend, enjoy an intimate four-course dinner at the Union Market and Gallery in Tuckerton – with a side of murder mystery.

Seatings are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-16, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include an appetizer, soup or salad, an entrée of coq au vin, braised short rib or spaghetti squash, and dessert and coffee, plus a complimentary souvenir wine glass. Patrons may bring beverages of their choice.

“Guests have loved our pop-up dinners in the off-season, and those who have attended the prix fixe in the past are excited about the addition of interactive entertainment next weekend,” according to Market co-owner and event coordinator Dani Corso. “It’s a really enjoyable experience that encourages conversation and excites the senses.”

The evening is presented by Bellarine Theatre Co., the Little Egg Harbor-based organization founded and led by Chris and Jessica Huch. Visit Bellarine’s new online ticketing service at

“Bellarine’s murder mystery is the first of its kind at The Union, but it’s not the first time the Huchs and I have collaborated on a dinner theater,” Corso said. “We hosted a sold-out show by the name of ‘Cafe Murder’ at t(he LBI Foundation of the Arts and Sciences) with Sunny Rae’s Kitchen in 2016.”
