McVey Elected Board of Ed President at Pinelands Regional School District

Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ — Four members of the Pinelands Regional Board of Education were sworn in at the board’s organizational meeting on Jan. 6. Returning member Betti Ann McVey was joined by new members August Daleo, Rachel Harper and Thomas Rosetti, all of whom had won the election in November. They all represent Little Egg Harbor Township.

Other returning board members include Thomas D. Williams Jr. from Bass River Township, Karen Poklikuha from Eagleswood Township, Patricia Chambers and Christie Palladino from Little Egg Harbor Township and Kim Hanadel from Tuckerton borough.

McVey was elected board president and Hanadel vice president.

The BOE also adopted a regular meeting schedule for 2020. It will meet in executive session at 5:30 p.m. and in open session at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29, Feb. 26, March 25, April 22, May 6, June 17, July 22, Aug. 19, Sept. 23, Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 23. —R.M.
