Little Egg Harbor — Manasquan Bank has opened its doors in both Little Egg Harbor and Manahawkin. The Little Egg Harbor branch welcomed the public on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 540 Route 9 South.

The Manahawkin grand opening weekend is Nov. 7-9, but the bank is already open there on a prominent 3.6-acre site at 525 Route 72 East.

The opening of the Little Egg Harbor branch was an event that drew a steady stream of neighbors, quite a few of whom turned into customers.

A live stream from radio station WOBM drew people in; the fresh doughnuts from the Glazed and Confused truck, down from Hoboken, warmed up the crowd; and a friendly greeting from bank employees had people sitting down to learn about services. Bank and community dignitaries attended.

“Is this a party?” asked one little boy inside. As close as a bank opening could get, yes.

“Everybody who walks in, they’re greeted at the door; it’s a very open concept,” said Branch Manager Danielle Roselli. “There are no barriers here in the branch at all, so everybody is equal. A client comes in and there is no traditional teller line; they do it all right at the work station that they’re in.

“We enjoy it, and we love being in the Little Egg community; it’s so welcoming down here.”

Roselli added, “Something that makes us unique from other institutions is that we really get to know our clients on a first-name basis, and we want to make sure that we understand what their needs are before we go ahead and promote something for them.”

In an online summary, Manasquan Bank describes the full-service institution: “Manasquan Bank has been dedicated to helping our community grow and thrive since 1874 with mortgages, construction loans, business loans and everyday banking like checking and savings accounts. As technology has evolved, so have traditional banking capabilities, and we take pride in providing you with the latest banking solutions. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is ready to help you attain your goals  for personal finance, business management, loans and more. Our main objective is, and always has been, to help our clients prosper.”

The bank prides itself on community involvement, Roselli said. Right now the branch is a drop-off point for donations of nonperishable food for the Little Egg Harbor Food Bank and the Greater Tuckerton Food Bank.

The branch is a member of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and the Little Egg Harbor Chamber of Commerce. The branch will participate at the Harvest Festival at Tuckerton Seaport Oct. 26, organized by the Little Egg Harbor chamber.

Amy Gerasimowicz has joined the Little Egg Harbor branch as assistant branch manager/business development officer.

Officers invite the public to find out about account promotions by stopping in or calling the branch at 844-626-2265, or to learn more, see the website manasquan.bank. The bank also has an active Facebook page.

The schedule of the Manahawkin branch opening includes: Thursday, Nov. 7, cupcakes from Cake That; Friday, Nov. 8, cookies from Charisma’s Cookies; Saturday, Nov. 9, refreshments from the Shore Fire Grille food truck, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
