Kevin Snow Promoted to Sergeant in Harvey Cedars

Harvey Cedars promoted Kevin Snow from patrolman to sergeant during a ceremony at the Harvey Cedars Board of Commission meeting Oct. 8. Police Chief Robert Burnaford said Snow has been assigned as the administrative sergeant.

“He is in charge of all records, court documents, scheduling and OPRA requests,” Burnaford said.

Snow graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2007. He served on the Beach Haven Police Department as a seasonal officer from 2005 to 2008 and graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy in 2008.

He also served as a seasonal officer in Harvey Cedars beginning in 2009 until he was appointed a full-time patrolman, in April 2011.

In addition, Stephen Adams and Daniel Grundtisch were appointed full-time patrolman and special officer, respectively. Adams graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in marine science in 2016, and graduated from the police academy in 2019. He began his Harvey Cedars career as a seasonal officer last July.

Grundtisch graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2013, and graduated from the Cape May County Police Academy in  2018. He previously was a special officer for the Ocean City and  Little Egg Harbor Township police departments from 2017 through part of 2019. E.E.
