By Juliet Kaszas-Hoch | Nov 27, 2019

Loveladies — As part of the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences’ new series – FRED (Film, Readings, Educational Discussions) Talks – Mike and Mary Beckett from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and Daniella Kerner, LBIF executive director, will present “Planning for Your Holistic Retirement” at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6.

The speakers will pose this question to attendees: “If life is four distinct 8,000-day segments of learning, growing, maturing and exploring, what’s your ‘See More/Do More Exploring Plan’?”

“This is such an appropriate and meaningful discussion, Kerner noted. If retirement is about mental, social, physical, spiritual and financial aspects of life, why do we just talk about financial?

“Everyone has a retirement life stage waiting to be invented,” she added. At this FRED Talk, we will explore how the LBIF can help people re-create and become engaged. And having Mike and Mary Beckett share their financial advice will be wonderful. Come and hear about holistic retirement. You will not be disappointed!”

Admission is $5 per person, or free for LBIF members and friends. Wine and cheese will be served.

The Foundation is located at 120 Long Beach Blvd. in Loveladies.
