Fun(d) the Dream is organized and supported by Weather NJ and Friends and sponsored by over a dozen local businesses and organizations. Sponsorship includes guest tickets. For more information:

In the 8½ years since the Manahawkin-based foundation was formed, nearly 1,400 families have been helped, to the tune of $1.2 million in direct aid.

Patient grant requests continue to pour in, which is why ongoing giving is crucial. Those who help DDBCF in its mission are called Beacons of Hope. Consider becoming a Beacon of Hope by visiting or the foundation’s Facebook page or by calling 609-489-0011.  —V.F.
