Estate Planning 101 at LBI Branch Sept. 27

Surf City — The Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City will host an estate planning presentation on Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m

Guest speaker is Paul R. Daniele, an attorney who will discuss wills and trusts, asset protection, nursing home issues, Medicaid qualification, estate taxes, frequently asked questions and common misconceptions.

Daniele has been practicing law in New Jersey for 49 years. He served as an assistant prosecutor from 1968 to 1974, and sat as a Newark municipal judge for 27 years from 1979 to 2006. Daniele was awarded the Newark Peace Prize in 1991.

As a judge, he was a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Municipal Court Practice Committee. He also has taught legal courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
