Tuckerton — The annual Christkindlmarkt at the Tuckerton Seaport is planned for Dec. 6-8, starting with an evening shop-athon on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by Saturday hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Christkindlmarkt celebrates the traditions of the season with a holiday market and craft fair under a huge heated tent surrounded by the Seaport buildings. Come jump-start your holiday shopping from 50 craft, gift and gourmet food vendors, featuring Cream Ridge Winery. Get in the holiday spirit with a horse-drawn wagon ride, listen to live entertainment and see demonstrators make folk art throughout the Seaport’s buildings. Also enjoy the popular food truck food court.

A trackless train will be operating from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; donate a new, unwrapped toy and ride for free.

The Tuckerton Seaport is located at 120 West Main St. in historic Tuckerton. Admission for this event is $5/person. Additional parking will be available at Tip Seaman County Park, on the opposite side of Main Street (Route 9).

For more information, call 609-296-8868 or go to tuckertonseaport.org.

Christkindlmarkt is funded in part by a grant from the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism.  —P.J.
